Rural Lancashire Primary School - £500-£600 per week - Full-Time - Long-Term

A small mainstream primary school is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to join its close-knit team. With a warm, welcoming headteacher, excellent staffing, and woodland within its grounds, the school offers a magical, supportive environment where children and staff can flourish.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help children with ASD and other additional needs access education through a combination of 1:1 and general classroom support.
1:1 support is shared across the team, helping children feel comfortable with different adults and build trusting relationships with several members of staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting communication, emotional regulation and participation Adapting activities and explanations to individual learning needs Encouraging confidence, independence and social development Supporting Numeracy, Literacy and wider classroom learning Following individual programmes set by specialists, including Speech and Language Therapists Working closely with teachers and fellow TAs to nurture each child's developmentWhat's on Offer
