Location: Bebington, Wirral Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026 Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2027 Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm Pay: £92.56 - £100.00 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bebington.

This role would suit someone with experience supporting children with additional needs who is looking for a rewarding, long-term position.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide targeted support to pupils both within the classroom and through small-group interventions.

The role will include:

Supporting pupils with SEND Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions Supporting communication and social development Helping pupils regulate their emotions Encouraging independence and confidence Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staffThe school is looking for someone who is patient, consistent, nurturing and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children.

This is a full-time position until July 2027, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to become an established member of the school community.
