Envision Education is recruiting a caring and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at a welcoming specialist school in Hemel Hempstead.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist education setting. No formal teaching qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups. Assist teachers with lessons and classroom activities. Encourage learning, confidence and independence. Adapt support to meet pupils' individual needs. Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom.

Requirements

Previous UK school experience or experience supporting children with SEND. A relevant reference. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. A patient, positive attitude and good communication skills. Ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead.
