Senior 3D Modeler

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior 3D Modeler to join their creative team in Norwich . You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets for a range of projects, including games, animations, and architectural visualizations. This role demands a deep understanding of modeling techniques, topology, texturing, and PBR workflows, combined with a strong artistic sensibility. You will work closely with art directors and other artists to bring concepts to life, ensuring assets are optimized for performance and meet the aesthetic standards required for each project, contributing to visually stunning and immersive digital environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed and realistic 3D models of characters, environments, props, and other assets according to project specifications.
• Optimize 3D models for performance, ensuring efficient polygon counts and UV layouts.
• Develop high-quality textures and materials using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with art directors and leads to ensure assets align with the overall artistic vision.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to established naming conventions and asset management protocols.
• Stay current with new modeling techniques, software, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Modeler , with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse modeling skills.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or ZBrush.
• Expertise in texturing and material creation using software like Substance Painter and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of hard-surface and organic modeling techniques, as well as topology and UV mapping.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for form, proportion, and visual appeal.
