About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and budget variance analyses .
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
• Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Support the financial year-end close process and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel , with experience in financial reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP or IFRS principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
