Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring all customer accounts are accurate.
• Proactively chase outstanding customer balances via phone, email, and letter.
• Resolve customer queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
• Implement and enforce credit control policies to manage customer credit risk.
• Prepare regular reports on aged debt, cash flow forecasts, and collection performance.
• Set up new customer accounts, conducting credit checks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or credit control role, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of the credit management cycle and debt collection techniques.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet collection targets.
