About the Role
Our client seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide critical support to key departments within their Sunderland operations. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage a diverse range of administrative tasks efficiently. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of departmental functions, supporting project coordination, and managing communication flows. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced administrative support, including managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing meeting minutes.
- Assist with project management tasks, tracking progress, organizing project documentation, and facilitating communication among team members.
- Manage office correspondence, including drafting, reviewing, and distributing communications.
- Organize and maintain departmental files and records, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy accessibility and security.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for staff attending conferences or business trips.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant , with a preference for senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing independent work with team collaboration.
