About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrative Officer to join their dynamic team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, agendas, and minutes for meetings.
- Maintain and organize complex filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and directing them appropriately.
- Support senior management with scheduling, travel arrangements, and other executive administrative tasks.
- Assist in the organization and execution of departmental events, conferences, and training sessions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or office management role, preferably at a senior level.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant administrative software .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in administration are advantageous.
