About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Agronomist to support their agricultural operations and client base across Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK and surrounding areas. In this hybrid role, you will provide expert advice on crop nutrition, soil health, pest management, and sustainable farming practices. Your insights will be crucial in helping farmers optimize yields, improve crop quality, and implement environmentally sound agricultural methods. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed soil and crop analysis to identify nutrient deficiencies, diseases, and pest issues.
• Develop tailored crop management plans, including fertilization, irrigation, and pest control strategies.
• Advise farmers and growers on best practices for sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
• Research and evaluate new agricultural technologies, products, and techniques.
• Manage client relationships, providing ongoing technical support and consultations.
• Contribute to the company's knowledge base and training initiatives for field staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience as an Agronomist or in a similar agricultural advisory role.
• Comprehensive understanding of soil science, plant physiology, and integrated pest management.
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
