About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Agronomist to join their innovative agricultural science team based in Cambridge . Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert agronomic consultancy services to a portfolio of agricultural clients, focusing on crop optimisation and sustainability.
• Develop and implement advanced soil management and nutrient programmes tailored to specific farm needs.
• Lead on the evaluation and integration of new agricultural technologies and precision farming techniques.
• Conduct field trials and research projects, analyzing data to generate actionable insights.
• Mentor junior agronomists and contribute to the knowledge base of the agronomy team.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or PhD in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related agricultural field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy or agricultural consultancy.
• In-depth understanding of crop physiology, soil science, pest and disease management, and sustainable agriculture .
• Proven experience with precision farming technologies, data analysis, and statistical modelling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites across the UK as required.
