Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their esteemed team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on aircraft systems, including airframes, engines, avionics, and electrical systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to accurately diagnose and resolve complex aircraft faults.
- Lead and mentor a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including routine checks, component replacements, and emergency repairs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities performed, parts used, and certifications required.
- Collaborate with flight operations and engineering departments to ensure aircraft availability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer , with a strong background in heavy maintenance or line maintenance.
- Relevant aviation engineering qualifications and certifications (e.g., EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 license).
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, and powerplants.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervising technical teams.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation and regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail to ensure aviation safety.
