About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft airframes, engines, and associated systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, utilizing diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
• Supervise and guide junior maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to the required standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and records in compliance with aviation regulations.
• Collaborate with flight operations and engineering departments to resolve technical discrepancies and implement service bulletins and modifications.
• Conduct quality checks on completed maintenance work and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, with a strong understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., EASA Part-66).
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., B1/B2) for aircraft maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
