Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of aircraft airframe structures, including fuselage, wings, and control surfaces.
• Perform advanced structural analysis using FEA and other computational tools to ensure compliance with airworthiness and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with aerodynamicists, systems engineers, and manufacturing specialists to optimize airframe design for weight, strength, and producibility.
• Develop and manage design documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Oversee the testing and validation of structural components and sub-assemblies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in aircraft airframe design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and FEA analysis tools (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS).
• Solid understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and structural dynamics.
• Proven experience in leading design projects and working effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong communication skills, essential for effective collaboration on-site.
