Senior Analyst in Cereals & Oilseeds

Do you enjoy analysing markets but also enjoy getting out from behind the data?

Are you able to spot the story behind the numbers and confidently share your findings with people across the agricultural sector?

Perhaps you've built experience in market analysis, economics, commodities or agriculture and are looking for a role where your work has genuine industry impact.

You may be an experienced analyst looking for more responsibility or already operating at a senior level and looking for a position that offers greater visibility and influence.

If that sounds like you, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst to join a highly respected organisation operating at the heart of UK agriculture.

This is not a role where you'll spend all day hidden behind spreadsheets.

Alongside carrying out market analysis, you'll be presenting your findings, building relationships across the sector and helping others understand what market developments mean in practice.

What will I be doing?

• Analysing cereals and oilseeds markets and trends.

• Supporting supply and demand analysis.

• Producing market reports and commentary.

• Delivering presentations across the industry.

• Engaging with farmers and others across the sector.

• Turning complex information into clear, practical insight.

What do I need?

We're looking for three key things:

• A strong communicator who enjoys presenting and engaging with others.

• Strong analytical skills, particularly around supply and demand.

• Agricultural knowledge, or a genuine interest in learning more about the sector.

Most importantly, you'll understand how analysis supports real-world commercial decisions.

What's in it for me?

• £39,000 - £45,000 salary

• Hybrid working

• A varied role combining analysis, presentations and industry engagement

• The chance to become a recognised voice within the cereals and oilseeds sector

• Excellent long-term development opportunities

If you enjoy turning market data into meaningful insight and sharing that insight with others across the industry, we'd love to hear from you.
