Senior Animator - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Animate characters, creatures, and objects with high quality and attention to detail, ensuring believable motion and performance.
• Collaborate with directors and art leads to interpret and execute animation notes and creative vision.
• Develop and refine animation techniques and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Mentor and guide junior animators, providing constructive feedback and technical support.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex animation challenges, ensuring smooth integration into the production pipeline.
• Contribute to the development of animation style guides and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in 3D character animation for film, games, or broadcast.
• Expertise in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight, and appeal.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional character animation skills and a keen eye for performance.
• Experience with rigging and character setup is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
