About the Role
Our client, a dynamic developer with a strong presence in the UK market, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to lead their residential development projects in Liverpool . This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire architectural process for new housing schemes, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to detailed design, planning approvals, and site delivery. You will be instrumental in driving design quality, ensuring commercial viability, and fostering innovation within the development process. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive architect with a proven track record in large-scale residential projects and a deep understanding of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and project delivery for significant residential development projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site analyses, and develop strategic design concepts for new housing schemes.
- Manage the design development process, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Secure planning permissions and ensure designs comply with all relevant building regulations and standards.
- Oversee the production of detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
- Collaborate closely with the development and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect (RIBA Part III or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in architecture, with a substantial focus on residential development and housebuilding.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale residential projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of planning policy, building regulations, and construction methodologies relevant to residential projects.
- Excellent commercial acumen and ability to balance design aspirations with development objectives.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant design and project management software.
