About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Property Development Manager to lead significant development projects in the Liverpool area. This role requires overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from site acquisition and planning through to construction and final delivery. You will manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relationships to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and within financial parameters. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in delivering complex property developments and possesses strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills. This is a high-impact role within a respected organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential development sites, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.
- Manage the planning application process, liaising with local authorities and consultants.
- Oversee the design and construction phases, working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, planning policies, and health and safety standards.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other third parties involved in the development process.
Requirements
- Significant experience (5+ years) in property development project management.
- Proven ability to manage the full development lifecycle from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of planning law, building regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
- Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
