About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Architect to lead key projects within their thriving practice located in Reading . This role requires a blend of strong design leadership, technical expertise, and excellent client management skills. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial client engagement and concept design through to construction, ensuring high standards of architectural quality and delivery. We are looking for a professional who can inspire the team and contribute to the firm's continued success in the Thames Valley region, working within a hybrid model that balances office collaboration with personal flexibility in Berkshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex architectural projects across various sectors.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project duration.
• Oversee the technical development of designs, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
• Develop project proposals, manage project finances, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Architect with significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in delivering a range of architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and other relevant design tools.
• Excellent understanding of UK building regulations, planning law, and contract administration.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.
