About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead key design projects within their esteemed practice in Aberdeen . You will be instrumental in shaping the future of architectural design, managing projects from inception through to completion, and fostering a collaborative environment for the design team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client briefs and regulatory requirements.
- Produce high-quality architectural drawings, visualizations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, promoting professional development and high standards of work.
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments to ensure design integrity and quality control during construction phases.
Requirements
- Full architectural qualification and professional accreditation (e.g., RIBA Part III or equivalent).
- A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in a similar architectural role , with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse project types.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit, and other relevant design and visualization software.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methods.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
