About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Architect to lead innovative design projects in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves guiding the architectural vision from conceptualization through to project completion, ensuring designs meet client objectives and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects from inception to handover, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Prepare and present architectural designs, specifications, and other documentation to clients, stakeholders, and planning authorities.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and ensure construction compliance with design intent.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project team members to achieve project goals.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and technicians, fostering their professional development and promoting best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest architectural trends, building technologies, and regulatory changes to inform design decisions.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture (e.g., RIBA Part III or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in architectural practice.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and leading design teams.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
