Senior Architectural Technician

About the Role

Our client, a reputable architectural firm in Bradford , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team. You will be responsible for translating architectural designs into detailed technical specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and buildability across a range of exciting projects. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, construction information, and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with UK building regulations, standards, and contract requirements.
• Liaise effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical queries and coordinate designs.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor progress and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Manage project documentation and information flow, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the project team.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing expertise and best practices in technical design.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) as an Architectural Technician or Technologist.
• Proficiency in BIM software , particularly Revit , and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
• Excellent technical detailing skills and a meticulous approach to documentation.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritize tasks in a hybrid working environment.
• HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
