About the Role

Our client, a respected architectural firm in Southampton , is looking for a seasoned Senior Architectural Technician to strengthen their technical delivery team. This role is vital for translating creative designs into buildable realities, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance throughout the construction process. You will play a key role in producing detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for a variety of projects across Hampshire . Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, construction details, and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with current UK building regulations and standards.
• Collaborate closely with architects and external consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Manage the technical aspects of projects from design development through to construction completion.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design intent and technical specifications.
• Mentor junior technicians and support the overall technical output of the practice.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an Architectural Technician, with a strong portfolio of technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a solid understanding of BIM workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning procedures, and construction technologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage project documentation efficiently.
• Relevant HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
