About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in Leicester . This pivotal role involves translating design concepts into technically sound and buildable architectural solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of technical documentation, working closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building information models (BIM) using industry-standard software.
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, standards, and planning policies throughout the design and construction phases.
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate project progress.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical queries, and ensure adherence to design intent.
- Manage and coordinate the work of junior technologists and architectural assistants, providing mentorship and guidance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical proficiency.
- Expertise in using CAD and BIM software, such as Revit , AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD.
- Thorough understanding of UK construction methods, materials, and building regulations .
- Relevant qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
