Senior Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team based in London . This pivotal role involves translating complex architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards. You will play a crucial part in the project lifecycle, from concept development through to construction, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to deliver exceptional projects. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and tender packages using CAD software and BIM tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with current Building Regulations , British Standards, and other relevant legislation.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical queries, and ensure construction aligns with design intent.
• Mentor junior technologists and provide technical guidance to the wider project team.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

• A relevant HNC/HND or degree qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist .
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
• Strong understanding of construction contract administration and site supervision.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
