About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their prestigious firm in London . This pivotal role involves leading the technical design and documentation for a diverse range of exciting architectural projects, from concept to completion. You will be instrumental in translating complex design visions into buildable solutions, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to building regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to project delivery, contributing significantly to the design and construction phases of high-profile developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building information modeling (BIM) data for architectural projects.
• Lead the technical design process, coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design challenges.
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and mentor junior technologists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing technical team.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for client presentations and project submissions.

Requirements

• A relevant degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Significant professional experience as an Architectural Technologist , with a proven track record in managing technical aspects of projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD and BIM software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK building codes, construction methods, and materials science.
• Strong understanding of contract administration and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
