About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This role is pivotal in translating conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with building regulations and client requirements. You will be instrumental in driving projects from inception through to completion, collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction professionals in a virtual environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using advanced CAD and BIM software.
• Ensure all technical documentation adheres to current UK building regulations, standards, and client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and structural engineers to resolve design issues and coordinate technical aspects.
• Manage and oversee the production of technical information packages for tender and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits and virtual surveys as necessary to inform design development and problem-solving.
• Mentor and support junior technologists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the remote team.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a remote capacity.
• Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
