A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join its growing Bristol team. The consultancy has been operating successfully for over 50 years, with an outstanding reputation for staff retention, many employees have built long term careers, supported by structured mentoring and clear progression routes.
Working within a busy Retail & Commercial team, you’ll play a key role in the technical delivery of a programme of projects for major national clients. This would suit someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, can confidently take ownership of technical packages and is comfortable coordinating information across multiple projects.
You’ll work closely with Architects, consultants and the wider project team, taking design information through into detailed technical and construction packages.
The Role
Taking projects through detailed design and technical delivery Producing and coordinating high-quality technical and construction information Developing detailed drawing packages in Revit Coordinating information with structural, MEP and other consultants Preparing and coordinating Building Regulations information Reviewing technical information and resolving design and construction queries Liaising with clients, consultants and contractors Attending design team and project meetings Supporting less experienced members of the team where required
Requirements
Experienced Architectural Technologist with a strong UK practice background Revit proficiency is essential Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge Good understanding of UK Building Regulations Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information Confident managing your own workload and taking responsibility for project delivery Retail/commercial experience would be beneficial, although not essential MCIAT achieved or working towards would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy with a strong track record of staff development and progression.
