Senior Aromatherapist - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Aromatherapist to join their innovative wellness platform, operating entirely remotely from the Nottingham region. This role involves providing expert consultations on the therapeutic use of essential oils for physical and emotional well-being. You will guide clients in selecting and safely using aromatherapy products to address a variety of concerns, from stress and sleep issues to skin health and mood enhancement. As a remote practitioner, you will leverage digital tools to offer personalized advice and create bespoke aromatherapy blends, contributing to a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client consultations via video or phone to understand their health goals and needs.
• Develop personalized aromatherapy protocols and recommend specific essential oils and blends for therapeutic benefits.
• Educate clients on the safe and effective application of essential oils (e.g., diffusion, topical application, inhalation).
• Advise on high-quality essential oil sourcing and product selection.
• Stay current with research and advancements in aromatherapy, essential oil science, and related wellness fields.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records and progress notes.

Requirements

• Certification from a recognized aromatherapy organization (e.g., IFA, IFPA, NAHA) with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of essential oil properties, therapeutic actions, contraindications, and safety guidelines.
• Strong understanding of holistic health principles and their connection to aromatherapy.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with experience in virtual client interaction.
• Ability to create compelling and informative content about aromatherapy.
