About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded holistic wellness spa in Nottingham , is looking for an experienced Senior Aromatherapist to provide specialized treatments and potentially lead their aromatherapy services. This role involves crafting bespoke essential oil blends for clients, conducting therapeutic aromatherapy sessions, and educating clients on the benefits of essential oils for physical and mental well-being. You will be instrumental in maintaining the spa's high standards of care and contributing to a tranquil and healing atmosphere, working part-time with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess individual needs and tailor aromatherapy treatments.
• Create custom essential oil blends using a wide range of high-quality oils for therapeutic purposes.
• Administer aromatherapy treatments, which may include massage, diffusion, or inhalation techniques.
• Educate clients on the benefits of aromatherapy and recommend appropriate essential oils for home use.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Professional certification in Aromatherapy (e.g., IFA, IFPA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience as an Aromatherapist.
• In-depth knowledge of essential oils, their properties, contraindications, and safe usage.
• Experience with complementary therapies such as massage or reflexology is a plus.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a calm and empathetic demeanor.
