Senior Audio Visual Technician - Corporate & Events

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Audio Visual Technician to manage and operate cutting-edge AV systems for corporate events, conferences, and performances in Liverpool . This role requires a comprehensive understanding of audio, video, lighting, and presentation technologies, coupled with the ability to provide seamless technical support in demanding environments. You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment, ensuring that all events run smoothly and meet the high standards expected by clients. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and operate a wide range of audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, screens, and control systems.
• Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting and resolving AV issues in real-time.
• Collaborate with event organizers, clients, and production teams to understand and meet their AV requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage AV inventory and assist with equipment procurement and repair requests.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry best practices for corporate events .

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Audio Visual Technician , preferably in corporate events or live production.
• Proficiency with various AV equipment, including digital mixers, microphones, video switchers, projectors, and control platforms (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
• Strong understanding of signal flow, cabling, and network basics relevant to AV systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for events in Liverpool .
