About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Automotive Data Analyst to join their team in Cambridge . In this critical role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of automotive data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work with data from vehicle performance, customer behavior, market trends, and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. This position requires a strong command of data analysis tools and techniques, coupled with a deep understanding of the automotive industry, operating within a hybrid work model that combines office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various automotive sources.
• Develop and implement statistical models and analytical techniques to uncover trends and patterns.
• Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for product development, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a significant focus on the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
