About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new automotive components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and quality targets.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Conduct simulations and analyses (e.g., FEA, CFD) to validate designs and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, R&D, and testing, throughout the product lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in automotive design or product development.
- Proficiency in advanced CAD software and strong knowledge of CAE tools.
- In-depth understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment in Cambridge .
