About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of vehicle exterior and interior design elements, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functional integration.
• Create detailed 3D models and renderings using advanced CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements, safety standards, and manufacturing constraints.
• Prepare design presentations and documentation for internal reviews and stakeholder approvals.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and competitor activities within the automotive industry.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in automotive design .
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Alias, CATIA, or similar.
• Strong understanding of surfacing techniques, ergonomics, and vehicle packaging.
• Excellent sketching, visualization, and 3D modeling skills.
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and materials.
