Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on vehicle engine, transmission, electrical, and electronic systems using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Identify and rectify faults, conducting necessary repairs and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize diagnostic software and technical service bulletins to accurately pinpoint and resolve complex issues.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain meticulous records of diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and diagnostic techniques through ongoing training.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Master Automotive Technician or Senior Diagnostic Specialist.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle electronics, CAN bus systems, and engine management systems.
• Proficiency with manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools and generic scan equipment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, IMI qualifications) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to service advisors and customers.
