Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote diagnostic support for a wide range of automotive makes and models, focusing on complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Analyze diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), sensor data, and wiring diagrams to accurately identify root causes of vehicle malfunctions.
• Develop and document detailed troubleshooting guides and repair procedures for internal teams and external partners.
• Utilize remote diagnostic tools and software effectively to communicate with vehicles and service equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on vehicle performance and potential design improvements.
• Mentor junior technicians and share best practices for remote diagnostic services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician or similar role, with a strong emphasis on complex fault finding.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engine management, CAN bus networks, and diagnostic software.
• Proficiency with various diagnostic scan tools and oscilloscope usage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and concisely in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are highly desirable.
