Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of key automotive components, such as powertrain, chassis, or body systems.
• Utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation techniques to validate designs for strength, durability, and thermal performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are feasible for mass production.
• Manage design reviews and ensure compliance with automotive standards and customer requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex mechanical design challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in automotive mechanical design.
• Expertise in 3D CAD modeling and extensive experience with FEA tools.
• Deep understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and automotive design principles.
• Proven ability to manage design projects from concept to production.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
