About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Automotive Software Engineer to join their forward-thinking engineering division in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . In this key role, you will spearhead the development of sophisticated software solutions for in-vehicle infotainment systems, connectivity, and autonomous driving features. You will leverage your expertise in embedded systems and software architecture to deliver robust, high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain real-time embedded software for automotive control units and infotainment systems.
- Develop software components for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and connectivity features.
- Perform software unit testing, integration testing, and validation to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, optimizing performance and ensuring system stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge of automotive software development processes (e.g., ASPICE) and tools.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., AUTOSAR, CAN, Ethernet).
