Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures on vehicle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and braking systems .
• Execute high-quality repairs and maintenance tasks, including routine servicing, component replacements, and system overhauls.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes of vehicle issues accurately.
• Advise service advisors and customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, providing clear explanations of technical issues.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing expertise and ensuring adherence to workshop standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong diagnostic skills across a variety of makes and models.
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and vehicle software systems.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• A valid UK driving license is essential for test drives and vehicle movement.
