Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Automotive Technician to join their dynamic workshop in Leicester . This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, leading by example, and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments of vehicle faults using advanced technical equipment.
• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs, including engine, transmission, and braking systems.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of work.
• Service and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and service schedules.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all work performed.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician , with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic software and electronic systems.
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid UK driving license and a commitment to continuous professional development.
