Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures on engine, transmission, and electrical systems using advanced testing equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance, scheduled servicing, and major repair work on various vehicle makes and models.
• Identify faulty parts, order replacements, and ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, identifying potential issues and recommending necessary repairs to management.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the workshop.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and equipment for accurate fault finding.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, engine management, and emissions control.
• A valid UK driving license and a good understanding of health and safety in a workshop environment.
