About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for automotive components and systems.
• Execute physical and simulated tests using specialized equipment, data acquisition systems, and testing rigs.
• Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and prepare detailed technical reports with recommendations for design improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues and validate corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive testing and validation.
• Proficiency with data acquisition systems, sensors, and testing instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of automotive components and systems, including their failure modes.
• Experience with test automation and scripting is desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
