About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Senior Aviation Compliance Officer to strengthen their regulatory affairs team in Edinburgh . This role is integral to ensuring that all company operations adhere to the complex and evolving landscape of aviation regulations. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, conducting internal audits, developing compliance strategies, and providing expert advice to various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and communicate upcoming and current aviation regulatory changes affecting the company's operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies across all relevant departments.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate compliance issues, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Provide expert guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies during inspections and audits, representing the company professionally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of UK and international aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, CAA).
• Proven experience in conducting audits and developing compliance documentation.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
