Senior Aviation Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Aviation Project Manager to lead significant projects within their organization near Oxford . This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of complex aviation-related projects, from initial concept through to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage project teams, stakeholders, and resources effectively, fostering collaboration and driving project success in a fast-paced aviation environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of aviation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven track record in project management, with significant experience in the aviation or aerospace industry .
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
