Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems, including flight control, navigation, communication, and sensor systems.
• Conduct system requirements analysis, architecture design, and trade studies for avionics solutions.
• Perform hardware and software integration, testing, and validation of avionics components and subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with aviation standards and certification requirements (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to avionics systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience (5+ years) as an Avionics Engineer in the aerospace or aviation industry .
• Proficiency in avionics systems design, integration, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded software development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of aerospace certification standards and processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for a hybrid work environment in Sheffield .
