About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of avionic systems, including navigation, communication, flight control, and display systems.
• Define and manage system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for complex avionics platforms.
• Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure system performance, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and program managers, in a remote setting .
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to avionics system performance and integration.
• Contribute to the selection and evaluation of COTS and custom hardware/software components for avionics applications .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in avionics systems engineering , with a proven track record in system design and integration.
• Strong understanding of avionics architectures, communication protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, AFDX), and relevant industry standards.
• Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., SysML, DOORS).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, vital for effective collaboration in a fully remote team.
• Familiarity with flight test and certification processes in the aerospace industry.
