About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is critical for the design, development, integration, and testing of complex electrical power and distribution systems for aircraft. You will work on ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of these vital systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering group. This hybrid position allows for focused work at our facility while also offering flexibility for documentation and design tasks that can be completed remotely, promoting a balanced work approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop aircraft electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems.
- Perform electrical load analysis, circuit design, and component selection.
- Integrate electrical systems with other aircraft subsystems.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to meet performance requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure seamless production and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in aircraft electrical system design and integration.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and power distribution principles.
- Familiarity with aerospace electrical standards and regulations.
- Experience with simulation tools for electrical systems is advantageous.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
