Senior Backend Engineer - Microservices

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance microservices using modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, participating actively in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development .
• Strong experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices architectures .
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and message queues.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
