Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using languages such as Python , Java, or Node.js.
• Develop and integrate with APIs, ensuring seamless data flow between various system components.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Manage database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
