About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join their innovative and fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
• Design and implement database schemas and optimize queries for performance and efficiency.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring the stability and availability of production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python , Java , Node.js, or Go.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker).
• Solid understanding of API design principles (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
