Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for efficiency and reliability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, actively participating in code reviews .
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth and best practices.
• Explore and implement new technologies to improve the backend infrastructure and development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development .
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
